Born in Casablanca in Morocco in 1972, and got the Master diploma in 1997 from the National School of Agricultural Sciences in Meknès. After having two years experience as an Agronomist in an Agro-chemical Company in Casablanca, I joined the University of Agricultural Sciences in Vienna, Austria for doctoral studies and got a job position as project coordinator in the Institute for Plant Production Biotechnology. The preliminary results of my thesis work dealing with two different subjects were published in an American scientific journal (http://www.umresearch.umd.edu/CGC/cgc26/cgc26_18.pdf) and in an international proceeding (http://www.eucarpia.org/03publications/index_new.html), the final results were worth publishing in international peer journals. One of the two manuscripts (A Consensus map for Cucurbita pepo) is already accepted in Theoretical and Applied Genetics journal (TAG). The second, (Contribution to the genetics of the seed coat character in C. pepo) is for the time being submitted to another international peer journal (Journal of Heredity). Worked as an assistant professor in Cyto-genetic at the university and made several seminars, lectures and talks in international meetings, I feel at ease when presenting and explaining scientific issues. My interest for the next is to use and further develop the acquired knowledge. Speaking confidently three foreign languages namely; French, English, and German, I expect to get a position where my theoretical and practical capabilities together with my multicultural sensibilities and linguistic skills could be efficiently exploited to promote scientific, social, and economical development.
